Alicia’s 17 chapter book (Alicia’s Story: Cancer. Despair. Hope. Faith.) was originally serialized in seven parts in the San Francisco Chronicle in 2005. *Prior to her passing, Alicia had been taking notes via a dictation machine when she was in hospice care in UCSF in April 2010. We are working on transcribing these notes as well as looking for other writings to see if they are appropriate for publication.
